About the Artist

Thanks for being here! I’m Jennifer Reardon, a Chicago-based artist specializing in creating expressive watercolor pieces that capture the unique energy of special moments with art.

I have been drawing and painting since before I could talk, and grew up spending my weekends in classes at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art starting at around age 7, and later The Art Institute of Chicago from age 10 to my adult life.

I started focusing on watercolor paintings during college, as I loved the quick, whimsical, and energetic feeling they capture on paper. Watercolor truly has a mind of its own, and requires deep trust from the artist to let it guide you and then let the medium itself take over. Being a rather precise and perfectionistic artist my whole life, watercolor has given me the power to let go and let my art come to life as it’s meant to.

I believe watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the feeling of special memories. Each wedding has a life of its own, and my goal is to let your wedding guide the end result on paper, for a timeless keepsake that you'll cherish forever.
